There is so much going on this month! It seems as if the calendar is full of fun events at our school! We have a World Language Program happening within the first week as well as a concert from Quibbletown! NJASK 4 and 5 testing will begin the week of the 7th for those students who are involved. Please make sure that if your child is testing they get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. If you are unsure whether your child is testing, please fell free to contact me! We are looking forward to the Career Fair happening on the 17th. In preparation, students are discussing what is means to hold a career, as well as different types. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers’ on the 13th!!!! Remember that Thursday May 24th is a make-up snow day that has been added to the calendar. We will also be off Friday May 25th and Monday May 28th for Memorial Day. With the end of the year quickly approaching please make sure you check your child’s agenda and homework folder nightly for important upcoming events such as the 5th grade trip to the middle school!
Please remember to dress your child appropriately for changing weather. Our room fluctuates in temperature so having your child wear layers to school is a great way to make sure they are comfortable throughout the day! Please remember, with allergies and colds upon us, to reinforce with your child the importance of covering their coughs and sneezes!!!
