M.L.King
Support Specialist
Mrs. Boelhower
My name is Michele Boelhower and I have been at M.L.King school for the last 9 years. I've taught both fourth and fifth grade and am currently a Support Specialist at M. L. King. I meet with 4th and 5th grade students and help them improve their confidence and performance in class. Sometimes you may see me in other classrooms helping teachers and students with math or literacy. When we meet, we focus on skills and strategies to help students with reading across the curriculum. We also focus on the curriculum of fourth and fifth grade, as well as any reinforcement of basic skill areas that are needed as a foundation for future math skills.
As always, please remember if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me between 7:45 and 2:45. My classroom is located in the front hallway in Room 6B.
Helpful hints to improving your grades:
1. Read every night. Read anything! Newspapers, Magazines, Books..
2. Ask questions if you don't understand. Or go and find out the answer yourself!
3. Don't give up. Try to figure out a way to accomplish your goal and do it!
