MAY BRINGS FLOWERS AND NJASK4

     We’ve been busy gearing up for NJASK. The Fourth Grade will be testing the week of May 7-11th.  We will have two days of Language Arts, followed by two days of Math testing, and a section on science on Friday.  We have a bunch of things to look forward to after testing.  We will have Career Day on Thursday, May 17^th. Don’t forget that May 22^nd is a half-day for the students and we will not have school on May 24^th, 25^th, and 28^th for Memorial Day Weekend!

    After testing, we’ll be delving into different forms of poetry and starting new guided reading chapter books in our small groups. In Science, we'll be finishing up our Livings Things Unit and switching back to Social Studies for another unit on New Jersey. There are plenty of things to do this time of year, like concerts, assemblies, and orientations.  Refer to our school calendar for specific dates.

         Please remember to continue to do your best work.  There are many learning opportunities left in the year.  Take full advantage of your education!
