April showers bring May flowers!!! In Math this month, Room 12 will be continuing to work with Geometry. We will be covering :
~Area and Perimter
~Sequences of squares and rectangles
~ how that effects the area and perimeter
~Volume
~ Congruency
~Tranformation
~Symmetry
In Social Studies, we will be returning to exploration of the Americas. We will look into the new settlements of Europeans and the effect this had on life in America.
**May also brings NJASK testing. Tesing for fifth grade will be the week of May 7. Please make sure students come to school well rested, on time, and have eaten a good breakfast. We want to test each day at our best!**
Please make sure to check our class calendar daily for homework, upcoming tests, and events scheduled for May!!
