Welcome to Mrs. Amme's Classroom
During this busy time of year, many students are working to complete their college admission portfolios. Remember that each college of university has specific requirements that change over time. So, be sure to look at each school individually. Remember to allot yourself plenty of time to gather all of your work and prepare the work of the portfolio format required.
Midterms are just around the corner. Remember these are half days with two exams each day. Give yourself plenty of time to study and get a good night sleep.
Drawing & Painting I students are getting ready to start with acrylic paints. They will be working on monochromatic self portraits using a color of their choice.
Drawing & Painting II students are developing beautiful journals that reflect their creative thinking and experiences. They will be moving into painting soon with a focus on preparing and using different paint surfaces.
AP Art Drawing is starting to feel the time crunch. They are almost done with the Breadth section of their exam and half way through their concentration.
