Hello, Welcome to Health/Physical Education at Piscataway High School. Health Education IV is required for one quarter in the senior year. Students will receive instruction on the following topics: Relationships, Dating, Gender&Sexual Orientation, Reproductive System Health, Pregnancy, HIV/Sexually Transmitted Infections, Contraception, Diseases & Wellness and Health Careers. Specific timelines and more details are covered in the course syllabus. Physical Education class offers a variety of activities from team sports to individual lifetime health/fitness programs designed to encourage students to lead a healthy lifestyle. Students will be in Physical Education for three marking periods. All four markiing period grades will be averaged into the final Health/Physical Ed. grade.

SPRING 2012
Fourth marking period Physical Education students are required to be dressed in proper gym clothing daily. Since the weather is favorable to outside activities the students should be prepared to go outside frequently. Students are required to participate in all activities daily. Medical notes are needed to be excused from participation. |
