Atif Nazir has been a Piscataway School District volunteer, having served as a citizen member of the Board of Education's Policy Committee, as well as a member of the Conackamack and M.L. King PTOs.  He is also an active community member, serving as a member of the Piscataway Township Civil Rights Advisory Commission and Health Advisory Commission.  He is a volunteer with the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey.
He holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Master of Science in Clinical Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the College of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Agriculture in Pakistan.
Atif is currently the Health Officer/Director of the Township of Irvington Health Department, where he oversees the delivery of comprehensive health services to residents and works in conjunction with the Irvington School District.
