A resident of Piscataway for close to two decades, Kimberly Lane is passionate about education and our students. She believes every student should be inspired to learn within a safe, positive and nurturing environment.  She looks forward to helping our high-performing schools remain competitive amongst the leading districts in the state.

Proudly serving in her fourth term on the Piscataway Public Relations Advisory Commission, she has played an integral role in helping to coordinate successful street fairs, annual backpack giveaways at National Night Out and planning township reading events for children.  Prior to her volunteering with the township, she was a house volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey.

She is a seasoned business development and project management professional with many years of experience in sourcing, strategic planning, procurement and client relations.  She holds an Associate of Arts degree with Phi Theta Kappa honors from Middlesex County College and is a project manager for a local contract manufacturer.

Mrs. Lane believes by combining both her life and business experiences, it will allow her to make sound policy recommendations and informed decisions that will enhance the learning environment and positively impact our students.  She is a proponent of arts and sciences and believes in the importance of teaching life skills.  She says, “The ability to create, critically think and learn life skills throughout their education are key factors in our students’ continued success.” Amongst her hobbies are trivia, travel, swimming and writing poetry.  She is married to her best friend Walter and is a proud stepmother.
