PiscatawayREADS is on April 5!
PiscatawayREADS will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at PHS. Preschool events start at 5:30pm and K-12 events start at 6:30pm with registration beginning at 5:45pm in the Patton Cafeteria. This year's theme is "Diversity" and the wonderful selection of books should lead to some great discussions.

March Episode - Life in Black & Gold
This student-produced news magazine program includes segments on the following: a trip to the NY Film Academy, the PHS Choir Winter Concert, Chinese New Year, the value of AP classes at Piscataway H.S., a tribute in honor of Black History Month, Boys basketball highlights including senior night, and a practice session for the Piscataway Chiefs Special Olympics bowling championship.

The National School Board Association (NSBA) recently announced three grand prize winners for its annual Magna Awards, which recognize innovative school district programs supported by board governance. Piscataway Townships Schools was named as Grand Prize Winner for districts in the 5,000 – 20,000 student enrollment category. Piscataway was recognized for its You, I, We Inspire program that unites the entire school community behind a culture of inspiration and pursuit of academic excellence.

It's that time of year - time to nominate a favorite teacher or education professional for Teacher of the Year! One candidate from each of our schools will be honored by the Board of Education, Superintendent and District Administrators. Teachers/Educational Services Professionals may be nominated by administrators, teachers, other staff members, students, parents or other citizens.

Save Your Teen Driver Event at PHS on March 28!
On Tuesday, March 28, parents and their teen drivers can sign up for the Save Your Teen Driver event at PHS. Teens can take a 20-minute simulated driving test to assess six key areas of driving. Two sessions are available and seating is limited.
