Registration is available online at www.ccprek.com
Educational programming and child care is available for infants and children, ages six-weeks to five-years-old. Families who wish to tour either campus are welcome to stop in during Open House Week, beginning February 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Wednesday, February 24, visitors may stop in until 6 p.m.
Children’s Corner Preschool provides a perfect balance of creativity, learning and fun for three age levels:
The Infant Program, for children ages six-weeks to eighteen-months, is offered in a bright, setting full of engaging activities to stimulate infant growth. The low, four to one child/staff ratio encourages sensory development and creates an ideal environment to begin an infant’s learning. The Infant program is located at the Children’s Corner by the River Campus and runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Toddler Program is available at both buildings and serves children eighteen-months to three-years-old. Music, art, story-telling, games and outdoor play support the Tools of the Mind curriculum that promotes literacy, large and fine motor skill development, emotional growth and social skills. Class size is limited to six to one student/teacher ratio. Sessions are offered from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuition is $875 per month.
Children’s Corner offers both full-day and half-day preschool enrollment for three and four-year-olds in both buildings, with class size limited to 18 students. Classrooms are designed with learning centers that focus on literacy, blocks and puzzles, science exploration, dramatic play, music, and theme-based learning. Lessons follow the Tools of the Mind curriculum, providing young children necessary learning skills. All classes are staffed by certified teachers and qualified assistants. Many teachers have graduate training in meeting the needs of children for whom English is a second language. Full-day enrollment begins at 8:45 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.; tuition is $575 per month. Grant opportunities are anticipated for income-eligible families. Half-day enrollment is for either a morning session (8:45 – 11:15 a.m.) or afternoon session (12:30 – 3 p.m.) and tuition is $295 per month.
Extended care is available before and after school for additional fees and a nurse is available at both locations. Security includes indoor and outdoor cameras and access to the public is restricted.
