Piscataway Township Schools has once again been
selected by Niche.com as one of the Best School Districts in New Jersey for 2025, rising in several rankings from the 2024 list.
Piscataway got an overall grade of A- and rated an A+ in College Prep and Diversity, and an A in Teachers and Clubs & Activities.
The district earned the No. 69 spot in New Jersey in the 2025 poll (up from No. 74 in 2024), placing No. 7 (up from No. 8) among 23 districts in Middlesex County. Piscataway ranks as the No. 11 (up from No. 13) most diverse district in the state.
“Diversity is a point of pride for our district and a valuable asset to the culture and climate of our schools,” said Superintendent Dr. Frank Ranelli. “We’re happy to be able to share all these excellent rankings that recognize the wonderful work being done by our staff, students, and families that make Piscataway Township Schools among the best school districts in the state.”
Piscataway Township Schools received A+ rankings for College Prep and Diversity in the 2025 Best School Districts ranking by Niche.com. Piscataway High School was rated as the No. 2 Most Diverse High School in New Jersey.
Eight of Piscataway’s individual schools – including Piscataway High School and all three middle schools – ranked in the Top 25 among Most Diverse Schools in New Jersey for their respective grade groupings.
Eisenhower Elementary School once again placed No. 1 in the state for diversity among elementary schools, and No. 36 in the nation.
Piscataway High School moved up to the No. 2 spot among the Most Diverse High Schools in New Jersey.
Eisenhower Elementary School was once again rated No. 1 among the Most Diverse Elementary Schools in New Jersey. Eights of Piscataway's schools ranked in the Top 25 for the their grade level.
