Our middle school students take the PARCC assessment, a standard based assessment in literacy (and mathematics). In addition, our middle school students are assessed in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a variety of ways – district quarterly assessments, formative assessments, teacher assessments – to ensure we are providing them with the most effective instruction we can.
