Superintendent's Corner

Dear Piscataway Families:

We have hit the home stretch of the 2022-2023 school year. These next weeks will fly by as students complete final projects, perform in end-of-the year concerts, and study hard for final exams. I encourage every student to stay focused and continue to do their best work throughout May and June.

Calendar Change
With one remaining snow day on our school calendar, the Board of Education voted on Thursday, April 28, to return that snow day as a day off for both students and staff. The

2021-2022 amended calendar now includes Friday, May 27 as a day off, extending the Memorial Day holiday to a four-day weekend.

In the coming weeks, look for invitations and reminders from you building principals for lots of exciting end-of-year events. It’s a great time to step back and reflect on how your children have grown, and what they’ve learned, throughout the year.

Very sincerely,

Dr Frank Ranelli
