2 PHS students share science research at Rutgers symposium

Posted Date: 5/09/25 (1:00 PM)

Congratulations to two Piscataway High School students who took part in a poster presentation during the Malcolm G. McLaren Symposium hosted by the Rutgers’ Materials Science and Engineering Department! Senior Anay Shah and junior Saanvi Patel presented complex research concepts in poster form for attendees to review. Anay’s research poster was about how an adaptive organ patch responds to the body’s healing needs using embedded biosensors and artificial intelligence. Saanvi’s research poster was about the AI-enhanced diagnosis of Alzheimer’s using magnetic nanoparticles. They were supported in their efforts by PHS science teacher Dr. Janet Mrotek.
