Families get insight into curriculum at Literacy Parent Engagement Night
Dozens of families of our students in Grades K-8 got a chance to learn more about our district’s new literacy programs at Literacy Parent Engagement Night!
Representatives from McGraw Hill led informative sessions in the Piscataway High School Anthony Commons on Tuesday, Dec. 16, about Open Court for Grades K–5 and StudySync for Grades 6–8. Piscataway Supervisor of English Language Arts Janine Albanese; Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. William Baskerville; and Superintendent Erskine R. Glover joined them in sharing insights into how these programs support reading, writing, and critical thinking at every level.
Some students participated as well, making it a true family learning experience. Thank you to all the families who attended and partnered with us to support strong literacy skills for every learner.
