Nine unsalaried, volunteer Piscataway citizens sit on the Board of Education for three-year terms. They are elected by registered voters during the November General Election.

The superintendent is the school district’s chief administrator, who reports to the Board of Education. The superintendent leads the Central Administration and Leadership Team in assuring our district and schools are run efficiently, that all our students receive a high-quality eduation, and that our families are supported.
