We are proud to announce that Piscataway High School has earned the 2026 Sportsmanship Award from the Greater Middlesex Conference! This award honors outstanding displays of leadership and maturity by our coaches and student athletes on and off the field of play.

Athletic Director Rob Harmer and Assistant Athletic Director Julia Myatt accepted the award from Michael Pede, president of the GMC, and Frank Noppenberger, executive director of the GMC, on Wednesday, April 15, at the GMC’s 25th Annual Sportsmanship Banquet at The Pines Manor in Edison. 

PHS student athletes Ethan Metzger and Ana Brito were also honored with individual sportsmanship awards along with peers from across the county. PHS boys soccer coach Dave Hilgert and swimming coach Noelle Hartje were in attendance to celebrate along with their athletes. #PwayChiefs #PwayInspires
