Volunteer Recognition Night honors those who drive our schools to success

Posted Date: 05/09/26 (09:00 AM)

Thank you to all who have given of your own time to support our district this year!

These vital supporters were honored on Tuesday, May 5, at Volunteer Recognition Night at the Piscataway High School Anthony Commons to celebrate all their wonderful work. Honorees include our Board of Education, parent organizations, Board committees, the Piscataway Education Foundation, and more.

These generous individuals make our schools and district a success. The event was hosted by Superintendent Erskine R. Glover and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Glenn Lottmann, and featured our principals and committee liaisons speaking about how volunteers impact their organizations so positively and recognizing each individual for a round of applause.

Everyone got to hear special performances by members of our Piscataway High School chamber music program, and each volunteer was given a “Piscataway Volunteer” car magnet as a token of thanks that fit with the theme of the night, “Volunteer Drive Pway!" They also watched a very special video tribute to our volunteers that is available on our @PwaySchool YouTube Channel.

Thanks to Executive Assistant to the Superintendent Lisa Kabus and Public Information Officer Gary Miller for organizing the event, with the help of Director of Community Programs Kimberly Georgeian and the Office of Community Education. Thank you to Supervisor of Visual & Performing Arts Rebekah Sterlacci for arranging for the night's entertainment.
