Piscataway Elks generously donate backpacks, lunchboxes, school supplies

Thanks to the Piscataway Elks for generously donating backpacks, school supplies, and lunch boxes to our students!

Members of the Elks dropped off 48 lunchboxes and 100 backpacks filled with school supplies such as notebooks, pens, and pencils, on Thursday, Sept. 17. Grateful district administrators met them at Schor Middle School, and the supplies will be distributed to all of our schools as needed.

Representing our district were Superintendent Erskine R. Glover, Board President Nancy Salgado-Cowan, Board Vice President Shantell Cherry, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Glenn Lottmann, Schor Principal Lisa Parker, and Quibbletown Middle School Principal William Gonzalez, who is also a member of the Elks.

Representing the Piscataway Elks were Exalted Ruler Peter Namen, Dan Pencak, Dave Lindsay, Valerie Johnson, Nick Buchek, and Christina Buchek, who is also executive assistant to our district’s director of human resources.

We are fortunate to have such wonderful community partners as the Piscataway Elks to help support our schools, students, and families!
