The Piscataway High School Superchiefs Marching Band was extra super at the football game on Friday, Oct. 9, because it was joined by 80 eighth-grade musicians from our 3 middle schools!
“This year’s 8th-graders were such a great group of students,” said PHS Band Director Ken Zampella. “They asked staff and students so many questions about the program and what we do up here at the high school.”
The younger students were excited to perform in the stands, see the seniors honored for Senior Night, and watch the outstanding Superchief Marching Band’s halftime show.
Thank you to middle school instrumental music teachers Connor Egan of Schor, Fabian Schulz of Quibbletown, and Shamie Royston of Conackamack for encouraging their students to take the next step toward being a future Superchief.
